Jahrhunderts v. Chr. bewohnt. bis ins 1. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Die Lage wurde wahrscheinlich aufgrund der guten Aussichtslage auf einem Berg und der N\u00e4he zur Via Domitia gew\u00e4hlt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am Fu\u00dfe des H\u00fcgels begr\u00fc\u00dft Sie das \u00c9tang de Montady. Bis ins 13. Jahrhundert war dies ein Sumpfgebiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dieses Oppidum ist charakteristisch f\u00fcr den Lebensraum im s\u00fcdlichen Gallien von der Bronzezeit bis zur r\u00f6mischen Eroberung. Dieser Teich ist eine wahre Neugierde an sich, da er seit dem 13. Jahrhundert wie eine gr\u00fcne Sonne im Sektor kultiviert wird.<br>Au\u00dferdem hat man seit dem Oppidum von Ens\u00e9rune den sch\u00f6nsten Anblick.<br>Unter dem H\u00fcgel f\u00fchrt der Canal du Midi den Tunnel von Malpas, der 1679 auf einer L\u00e4nge von 170 Metern durchbohrt wurde.
