The Picpoul studio is located on the ground floor in the chateau. Access through the main entrance.
The studio has a king size bed.
The Picpoul studio has a maximum capacity of 2 persons in total.
Included are all sheets, blankets, towels as well as toiletries from ‘Rituals’ (99% natural): Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand soap and hand/body lotion.
On top, a toiletry set of ‘Rituals’ is offered upon arrival.
As a guest of the Picpoul studio, you have your own WiFi, cabled internet, LCD flat screen, sat receiver and DVD player.
The fully equipped kitchen contains a dishwasher, 2 pit electric cooker, microcombi oven, fridge with freezer as well as coffeemachine a.s.o.
The studio has been totally renovated in january 2019. The studio is equipped with air-conditioning.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het zeer sfeervolle Chateau Marcel. Het is prachtig gerenoveerd, met oog voor detail én comfort: een heerlijk bed, luxe badkamer en fijn zwembadje. De omgeving is prachtig om te fietsen en te wandelen en op korte afstand vind je zowel het strand als de steden Carcassone en Narbonne. Meest bijzonder is wel de prettige, natuurlijke gastvrijheid en behulpzaamheid van René en Conny. Niets is te veel en we voelden ons zeer welkom. We komen graag nog een keer terug!

We absolutely loved our stay at Chateau Marcel. Our apartment was very clean and had all the necessities. While most of the room has somewhat of a cozy vintage vibe, the bathroom is very modern. So you There is air conditioning to help with the hot weather.
The host, René, made sure that we had everything we needed. He helps you with any question you have and he provides great information about the area. He is very sociable, but never in an intrusive manner.
There are plenty of things to do in the area. For example, there are many hiking routes you can take or you can go kayaking. You can also easily drive to the Mediterranean or visit Carcassonne. Relatively close to the Chateau is a canyon that you can hike through and then you reach a nice little village (Minerve) which is fun to visit. René brought us by car to a part of the canyon that he knows is enjoyable to hike through without it being too difficult or too long. If you don’t feel like doing anything on a particular day, you can always relax at their pool in one of their super comfy chairs, while drinking a nice glass of wine. If you book your stay through their own website, the wine is free during your entire stay, which is obviously a nice bonus.
