L’Auberge du Somail has always put its craftsmen and producers in the spotlight…Right next to the Canal du Midi, you can enjoy French cuisine, with regional products. Although I personally like the ‘Moules grantinées’;-). Feel free to go a little earlier to walk around in Le Somail. The bookshop with old books is also worth a visit.
Azillanet: La maison vigneronne
La maison vigneronne is a family restaurant. Back to basics: good food for a good price. No hassle with wine choices: the bottle on the table and enjoy! Hélène is a very friendly hostess. She will certainly do her utmost to help you where she can. Do not expect a high class setting! You take your place in the garden at the plastic tables and chairs as many have at home. You immediately feel at home here. As already mentioned: back to basics. By the way, the aperitif and the wine from the village are included in your menu! Definitely recommended if you can appreciate a no nonsense dinner.
La Caunette: La Cave
La Cave is situated in La Caunette, close to Minerve. Right in the center of a little pittoresk village, you can combine your dinner with a small walk in the cillage.
Homps: Le Poulpe
Le Poulpe in Homps offer a wide range of food, but the accent is on fish or seafood.
Aigne: Lo Cagarol
Lo Cagarol is a family restaurant. Father in the kitchen, son in the restaurant. Arthur welcomes you with his natural style. As for value for money, this reastaurant is a schoolexample. Nice terrace outside on a small yard in the center of the village. For a nice evening out, Lo Cagarol is highly recommended.
Minerve: Le relais chantovent
Le relais chantovent in Minerve offers you a very nice lunch or dinner. With fair prices and a super value for money they will surprise you for sure. Guests of Château Marcel are offered a free surprise…
