L’Auberge du Somail has always put its craftsmen and producers in the spotlight…Right next to the Canal du Midi, you can enjoy French cuisine, with regional products. Although I personally like the ‘Moules grantinées’;-). Feel free to go a little earlier to walk around in Le Somail. The bookshop with old books is also worth a visit.

Picturesque and beautiful setting. Right next to Canal du Midi. Local products. Smooth service. Our favourite: moules gratinées.
It is a pity that when you make your choice, everything has to go much too fast. One does not realise that non-French speakers sometimes need a bit more time to make a choice. It is too obvious that the customers are mostly day-trippers from the Canal du Midi. That’s how you feel treated.
